Time Changes Everything

March 20 at the Oklahoma History Center
The two-act play, "Time Changes Everything" will debut in Oklahoma City on Saturday March 20, 2010 in the Devon Great Hall of the Oklahoma History Center. The first performance of this unique theatrical production took place in Tulsa on June 25, 2009 at the Lilly Doenges Theater. Written by former Tulsa World entertainment writers Thomas Conner and John Wooley and directed by Vern Stefanic, the play imagines a world where Bob Wills and Woody Guthrie meet. Wills and Guthrie are not known to have met in real life, but the theatrical version envisions a discussion about music and life between the two iconic figures portrayed by Oklahoma musicians Brad Piccolo and John Cooper. In the second act of the play, Piccolo and Cooper join their band mates for a live musical performance by the Red Dirt Rangers featuring songs from the Wills and Guthrie catalog.

The show will begin at 7pm on Saturday March 20. Tickets are available for purchase at the History Center gift shop, or by phone with a credit card. Seats in reserved sections are $35.00 and general admission tickets are $25.00; OHS members receive a $5.00 discount per ticket. Tickets are limited so do not delay! To order by phone call 405-522-3602.
